THEE BEST WEEKEND EVER

My weekend was full of me being a kid, playing games, collecting tickets, and getting prizes. Can you guess where i spent my weekend??
Well if you guess Chuck'e'Cheese's you were right!
When i planned my Saturday night i never had the
intentions on going there, but there is where Arthur and i ended up. We were originally suppose to go see a movie, but on our way to the movies i spotted Chuck'e'Cheese and Arthur noticed how my eyes lit up. So he asked me if i wanted to go there instead and i told him that it was up to him and he told me the same and we continues that for
a bout five minutes. I then found the car pullin into the parkin
g lot of Chuck'e'Cheese.
Lookin through the window as we walked up, we could see the masss histeria of children of all ages. We hesitated before going in because there so many rugrats running around, and then we proceeded in and became eager to become kids again. Once we got in Arthur bought enough tokens for four to play and there we only two of us. We took the tokens and quickly went to work. We played all kinds of games some included basket
ball, skee ball, Mariokart 2, and many, many more. The slogan couldn't be any better, because all the games and stuff made me feel like a big kid and i loved it. We arrived around 8-ish and we stayed until closing. We took tthe tickets that we recieved a
nd got some little goodies. Arthur, being the gentleman
that he is, let me have all of the goodies. I had a great time.
I can't wait to go back....

My Town

My town or if that's what you want to call it is called Victorville, California. Many people dont know where that is and the people that have heard of it dont think much of it. My opinion of it is good. I've lived there most of my life so i am used to it. Many people move there from somewhere else and they begin to compare the two. I moved to Victorville from Pasadena so in my eyes it is better in many different ways. There is less violence and gangs.

I GUESS...

You tell me that you love me,
but you hate my attitude!
That makes no sense to me,
but i guess that's because i'm not a dude!

We've never been through this before,
but i guess you just didnt want to try to make it work anymore!

I'm wondering if you've always felt this way,
but you just were afraid to actually say.
I would have wanted you to just say it then,
because now it hurts me times 10!

What happenened to me being the most intelligent girl that you've ever met?
I guess you just weren't ready for me yet!

Although my actions weren't right...
there should have been a way to make it right so that we would stay in eachother's sight!

You say you don't want to hurt anybody...
but hurt is all that i feel throughout my entire body!

It's sad how you let one mistake come between what we had...
I guess you want us to move on all because of one thing that went bad!

It seems like nothing will be the same between me and...
I wish it would, but if you feel that we should just be friends...
then i guess that's what i'll have to do!

I just want you to remember the fun times that we had while it lasted1
Even though i wish that we could have gotten past it!
But no matter what happens and whatever you choose to do...
I just want you to know that I am here if you ever need me and i will always love you!

I'm from...

I am from a one parent household run by just my mother.
In the house lived my mother, my older brother and me.
My older brother and I quickly saw her as also our father, since our father is who we didn’t see. I'm from never being able to hear "how's daddy's little girl", because he was never there to say those words to me.

From sitting between my mothers’s knees waiting to be free.
While she puts my hair in ponytails made from barrettes and beads.
But in reality, I was never really free, because I am from the home of the Rose Bowl and violence was heavy, so in the house is where I had to be.

I'm from fried chicken, cornbread, and the strong smell of vinegar mixed in some collard greens. I am from my grandmother and her daughters in the kitchen preparing the soul food to cure all of our needs.
I'm from the cheesiest mac & cheese, green beans, and black eyed peas.
I'm from a strict grandmother that made me finish every bite of my food before I could have something to drink.
I am from being full, but thirsty and all I could do was sit there and think.

I am from do good, be smart, and get good grades.I'm from hearing don't worry about playing a sport, let Rodrick do that and just sit and behave.
I am from obeying my mother and smart is what she wanted so there was nothing more to say.
And although I knew how to play sports, I knew it was my place to just get good grades.
Good grades are what I got, and now I'm in college. And I will make sure to make my mommy proud and give it all that I've got.
